and those carried off and held in prison (14) and those under accusation for a long time he has absolved of the charges against them;
ἀπηγμένους GR 1850 probably just means „having been arrested.“ pf.
The „under accusation“ in Quirke and Andrews’s translation is the ἐν αἰτίαις.
Austin 283 has the same translation in terms of two groups, those who have been carried off to jail (in prison under arrest) and those under accusation.
